Candia Crosfield is a Quaker who helps young people find ways to resolve conflict. Working at St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation in London, she meets young people who carry knives because they are scared. She teaches them ways to defuse violence.

Equality, Peace, Simplicity and Truth - New prints just arrived.

New works for 2011.

By utilising the four Quaker testimonies – Equality, Peace, Simplicity and Truth to act as the narrative framework and by using a sympathetic and unobtrusive methodology, the project aims to uphold the values held by the Society of Friends (Quakers). Each image (or group of images) would take its cue from the Quaker testimonies, not necessarily in the literal sense, but rather a visual nod towards them.
